Dallas’s Galleria shopping mall is a thriving, bustling commercial hub during the day… but at night? Dim parking lots made it seem unwelcoming and less safe. We saw an opportunity to substantially reduce energy consumption and significantly improve visibility.

By replacing hundreds of HID and sodium fixtures with bright and efficient LEDs, we reduced energy consumption by 70%. The LED lights have a lifespan 5x longer than the old-technology bulbs they replaced, and produce more light, even at the end of their lifespan. Now the Galleria parking lots are brighter, “dark spots” have been eliminated — and, thanks to a 10-year warranty, maintenance costs for the next decade will be near-zero.
