The Brown-Lupton University Union of TCU (BLUU) was built in 2008, and was designed to blend seamlessly with the campus’s existing neo-Georgian structures. Though beautiful in daylight, the building’s existing exterior lights were inadequate at night.

With sustainability and visibility in mind, we audited the premises and proposed a retrofit of existing fixtures with new LED bulbs. Maintaining BLUU’s architectural design, we enhanced its nocturnal appearance with drastically improved light quality. More importantly, the new LED fixtures are expected to reduce total kWh consumption by 75%, and providing a beautiful and energy-efficient lightscape for many years to come.
